In accordance with District Rule 1102 Section 4.3, the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District will be disposing of certain District materials, equipment and assets deemed to be surplus. Surplus items will be made available first to non-profit organizations, government agencies and schools at no charge at 9:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. on July 8, 2014. Any items left over will be available to the general public from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 pm on July 9, 2014. Also available are three surplus vehicles. The vehicles have a minimum purchase amount and the District will be accepting sealed bids for each vehicle at 157 Short Street, Bishop, CA until July 9, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Bids will be opened by the District at 4:00 p.m. and each vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder.
